After the cleaning project, Jalan Bekasi Barat Raya, Rawa Bunga, Jatinegara, East Jakarta will be rearranged.

Urban village and sub-district officer must supervise the area to avoid street vendors selling here

East Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Parks and Cemeteries, Agustin Pudjiastuti, admitted big plantation pots are placed along the 100 meter sidewalk.

"Unluckily, the pots were used by street vendor for selling, or turned into garbage can. So we remove the pots now," she said, Tuesday (11/3).

She added that the sidewalk function will be optimized by placing long bench, painting the wall, and so on.

"Urban village and sub-district officer must supervise the area to avoid street vendors selling here," she uttered.

She continued that park will not be constructed there since street vendor number always increasing especially on weekend. "Street vendors should be placed in special area," she disclosed.
